Volunteers help in many ways: working hands-on with women and children in our homes (playing, crafts, and tutoring), visiting older adults at home, keeping records behind the scenes, creating new programs, serving on policy-making committees, teaching a class, or joining a workday to paint and fix up our homes.
Have 4 hours to give, or 40? Either way, it helps.

We help about 100 families at a time. Most come to our homes having had to leave almost everything behind. Your gift buys groceries, bus passes, clothes, school supplies, and the household items and furniture that help a family start over.

Hold a drive for canned food, school supplies, clothes, or household items, or join one of our yearly traditions: School is Cool, Holiday Hero, or a workday. See what we need most.
