We are thrilled to announce that ASC exceeded their fundraising goal, raising an incredible $489,559 (net) for our agency. Every networking meeting, creative activity, and event they coordinated directly fueled this massive success.
This unstoppable group of professional women gave it their all—and then some. We are deeply moved by their commitment, compassion, and determination. Even while working full-time, raising families, and balancing demanding lives, they never wavered in their support. We are forever grateful to have been chosen as their beneficiary.

Shared Housing programs include:
provides housing solutions for individuals who have housing with individuals in need of housing.
Provides temporary supportive housing for homeless single parents mothers with children and older adults (age 50+).
24 unit new construction with “green design” The community will provide permanent supportive housing as well as temporary housing with a focus on homeless families and single older adults
Shared Housing Center was created in 1984 to provide and facilitate affordable housing options. Our mission has been to offer housing options and supportive services that foster independence, empowerment, and self-worth and to serve a multicultural, intergenerational population.

School is Cool – August
We officially kick off the campaign drive and collect through the day. We make every effort to provide a school uniform, shoes and a back pack filled with the appropriate school supplies for school age children in our program. Each year we have approximately 300 current and former clients participate in a two-hour party of food, games and catching up before handing out the bag of goodies. You are welcome to contribute school supplies, back packs or donate funds to secure uniforms and/or shoes.
Thanksgiving Care & Share Basket Drive
We collect and deliver food items to our client families and older adults. Please consider purchasing from our grocery list or making monetary donations so our families can celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Our annual collection drive runs from November 1, with the delivery of food baskets taking place the week of Thanksgiving.
Holiday Hero Party
Become a Holiday Hero by “adopting” a child, adult, or senior citizen! Purchase a few gifts for our clients and help them celebrate the holiday spirit of Hanukah, Christmas or Kwanzaa. Be creative this year – (1) host a party (2) have guests bring toys & wrapping paper (3) have guests wrap (4) best wrapped toy gets a prize!
Camp Gingerbread
A holiday treat and tradition for the whole family! Join us at NorthPark Center and decorate a gingerbread cookie or gingerbread house. Take it home to enjoy during the holidays. Makes a unique gift and great memories!
